Children’s Catechesis

Saint Mary’s is dedicated to forming our young people to become mature adults who know, practice and can pass on the faith to those they encounter. Through regular and interactive catechesis we seek to build a solid foundation that our young people can rely on throughout their entire lives.

Using the Catechism of the Catholic Church we ensure that the materials presented are in line with the teaching of the Catholic Faith.

We strongly believe in the parents as the primary teachers of the faith and do what we can through our adult catechesis to help prepare and equip them for this role.  We also seek to assist them by presenting and reinforcing the faith to their children each week through regular catechesis before our 10:30 Mass and through the Children’s Bulletin, distributed at the Sunday Mass.
