Children of Mary Sodality

The Children of Mary, Saint Mary's Cathedral Basilica, was established by the Sisters of Charity in 1849.  Today they are one of the oldest continuing Children of Mary Sodalities in Canada.

The Children of Mary foster an increase in devotion to Our Blessed Mother through prayer, spiritual, and charitable works. These charitable works include child sponsorship through Chalice, provision of baptismal stoles and candles, assisting with the Seniors, Hospitality, and Outreach Ministries, and visiting the homebound.

The Sodality meets monthly from September through June, excluding the month of December and membership is open to all adult Catholic men and women.
