Envelopes and Collection Basket
The parish gives out collection envelopes to anyone who would like to use them. This is beneficial to the parishioner to enable the parish to provide them with the tax receipt at the year end for their contributions.

E-Transfers
Using your online banking app on your phone or computer, you can electronic transfer money to the email finance@halifaxyarmouth.org. Please put in the memo your envelope number or address and what the donation is for (for example: Sunday Donation or Daily Bread, etc). This option adds no cost to the Parish at all.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)
This is where a parishioner can set up to have their monthly donation taken out of their bank account on the 15th of every month. The benefit of the option is a donor doesn't have to remember their envelopes or look for cash or write cheques. It is also beneficial to the parish’s financial stability as it provides a consistent income when people are away or the weather is bad. Please contact the parish office to have this set up.

Text to Give using Tithe.ly
Simply text "Give" to (833) 692-8989 to set up texting to give. This will allow someone to text their donation during the collection time at mass instead of worrying about having cash. There is a small fee the Paris incurs to use this service but the donor can select to cover the fees. Tax receipts are issued for the entire donation.

Donate Online
You can donate online by clicking here. This allows you to donate using your credit card. You can also set up a recurring donation or a one time offering and choose where you would like your funds to be used. This is a small fee the Parish incurs to use this service but the donor can select to cover the fees. Tax receipts are issued for the entire donation.

Stock Donations
If you have stock that you would like to donate to St. Mary's Cathedral or any of its programs, we have a broker who can assist in completing this donation. Please contact the office for the stock donation form to give to your financial advisor.
